Health Care Reform – Down the Toilet??
It is absolutely ridiculous! I am now officially pissed! How the Hell does the insurance industry control what the Senate does as much as they do? The goal here is not to pass a bill, but to REFORM health care! A bill without reform is NOT worth passing. What the Senate bill has been pared down to is nothing but a windfall for the already wealthy insurance executives, and an absolute disaster to the people of this country who are already suffering the most from the broken system.
Joe Lieberman should switch to the Republican Party, because he is already acting like a Republican. People are dying! People are going bankrupt! People’s lives are being ruined! Mr. Lieberman should be stripped of any station or power in the Senate. He is a traitor to his constituents, as is the entire Republican Party.
Today is the 12th of December, 2009. Everyone should go to the MSNBC web site and read or view the special comment from Keith Olbermann on his Countdown show this evening. He says it much better than I ever could. The Republicans and Joe Lieberman have betrayed the people in this country, and Obama and the Democrats have, once again, lain down and allowed themselves to be run over. This is sad and disgusting. You and I, and everyone in this country except the wealthy, have been betrayed by Congress. We need to let them know that we, the people, do not intend to take it lying down. Call, write, protest, blog, and do everything you can to make sure they know how we feel.

I REALLY liked your post and blog! It took me a small bit to discover your site…but I bookmarked it. Would you mind if I posted a link back to your blog? I have a Political Satire site of my own at White Rabbit Cult. Peace!
Yes, I already told you to go ahead.
I must say, politics and religion bring out the best and the the bad side in people. The very best because both can result in people being incredibly kind, the worst because both can result in unbelievably obdurate and unreasonable action. I am not attacking you, your post merely made me realise this, so thanks for that.
I read your blog once in a while and I must mention that I like your template!
thinking is flawed here, sorry but i dont agree
Very good post! You definitely did a lot of research on this, so awesome job. I’ll make sure to bookmark your blog as well!
Flawed in what way?
I just stumbled upon your Blog and found your post to be very thought provoking. I was wondering if you had a newsletter or feed or something I could subscribe to? I really like how you write and want to make it easy on myself to find your stuff! I think it’s time for the working people of this country to show their displeasure in November!
Very greatful for the information presented. I have a great time reading your content. Keep it up.
Hey just found your Blog and wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this particular post. Do you have an RSS feed or newsletter that I can sign up for? I really like how you write and want to make it easy on myself to find your stuff! I think it’s time for the working people of this country to show their displeasure in November!
So the health care bill passed and now the courts will have to decide if this is constitutional or not… What do you think will this really go through?
Carroll,
There is a RSS icon in the extreme upper right-hand corner of the site. I personally do not like the mandate without a public option. One goes with the other in my opinion. However, at least we now have a start, and as long as there are affordable options, the mandate is not so bad.
Unfortunately, if they file suit and elevate it to the level of the Supreme Court, I do not trust the 5 conservative justices to do anything except make a political decision, regardless of the law and the Constitution.
I normally surf all over the ‘net because I have the tendancy to read often (which isn’t always a great idea because most blogs just copy from each other) but I have to say that yours contains some great substance! Thanks for stopping the trend of just being another copycat site!
